CENTENNIAL 5 BARREL RESERVE CHARDONNAY :-
Now we get serious! Bring out the crystal and silverware. We have blended this wine carefully
to create the ultimate dining experience. A full bodied wine that deserves to be served with
matching food. Try grilled calamari steaks, bouillabaisse or a smoked king mackerel.
CENTENNIAL 5 BARREL RESERVE SHIRAZ :-
We have blended this wine carefully to create the ultimate dining experience. All that is
left is good company and good food. Think wild game, full red meats or for the
adventurous, a spicy lamb curry.

INKATHI

Inkathi is Zulu for season and the range depicts the various Cape seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

CHENIN CHARDONNAY SAUVIGNON BLANC:-
A melange a trois of South Africa’s most popular white grapes, each adding
its distinctive flavour. A lovely wine which goes well with light meat dishes,
fish and shellfish or on the patio on a hot summers day!
MERLOT CINSAUT PINOTAGE:-
A complex red wine which has the characteristics of berries, plums and
even nuts. Well balanced with good mouth feel, this wine loves to be paired
with red meat dishes, pastés and cheeses or just on its own.
PINOTAGE ROSE:-
Think pink! This ever popular wine made from the super fruity Pinotage
grape will add a new dimension to spring and hot summer days. A perfect
match for light meat and fish dishes. Also delicious solo!

Cape 4 is named after the major 4 events influencing life at the Cape. The Fifth season is for the daring only.

SAUVIGNON BLANC:-
Intensity from the King of the Cape mountains! This distinctive wine is a winner with seafood,
light meat dishes or on its own. Try it with fresh oysters!
CHARDONNAY:-
Vanilla, butterscotch and lemony flavours overwhelm you at the first approach. This wine
is perfectly fine on its own. We recommend it is shared with full flavoured seafood and
poultry. Try with a lightly seared tuna steak.
MERLOT:-
Parlez’vous Français? Nee, Afrikaans! See how we do understand Merlot in the Cape. A full
bodied wine with high berry intensity, well balanced and a lingering aftertaste. Try with red
meat dishes, patés and cheese!
SHIRAZ:-
Cape Shiraz has found itself on its own ground. Somewhere between old and new world, this
wine has it all. Elegant, spicy, but with a body to match! Goes well with full flavoured red
meat dishes. Try it with a Kudu steak.
CABERNET SAUVIGNON:-
There needs to be a boss! And that is the Cabernet Sauvignon. Full bodied, flavoursome
wine with a nose to match. Well structured, it’s a perfect match to game. Try with buffalo
neck.

Cape Cab and Cape Sauv

Cape Cab and Cape Sauv are modern wines, only for open minded people of middle age!! These “tongue in cheek” wines will let you dream away on adventures only reserved for the bravest of us.

CAPE CAB:-
Structure, fruit, length! That is how we see modern Cape Cab. Carefully monitored vineyards
were chosen and the grapes were picked at their peak performance. Advanced winemaking
techniques were used which resulted in this superb wine. This wine demands succulent red
meat, a fire place and good company
.
CAPE SAUV:-
Mouthfilling, juicy, crisp. This is how we can sum up this wine. We have selected the berries
at optimum ripeness and have nurtured them through the winemaking process. The result is a
full flavoured wine that is a perfect match with seafood, but does oh so well on its own!

De Vloot (The Fleet)

Named after the unfortunate Dutch East India ships that were shipwrecked off the South African coastline in the 17th and 18th century. The wines are a tribute to the courage and hardship of the crews of the fleet.

CHARDONNAY:-
A far cry from the first wines made in the Cape! This super juicy Chardonnay has been
carefully blended to give it its optimum flavour. Governor van Riebeeck would have

been proud.
MERLOT:-
A royal salute for this Merlot! Centuries after the vines were planted in the Cape, Merlot is
showing its full potential. Governor van der Stel would have served this at his dinner parties.

SHIRAZ:-
A perfect match to the spices that were shipped en route. A wine with body to match, well
balanced to make it last for many years to come. The favourite of the Here XVII
