Elephantasy

Named after the largest mammal in South Africa, Elephantasy includes 3 wines; Big Ears Dry Red, Long Nose Dry White and Short Tail Rosé. Wines for the young at heart, who like to experience South Africa at its best.

LONG NOSE:-
The world’s largest land mammal also has the world’s most ingenious nose – hands,
lips, nose, snorkel and swatter all in one! It’s 200 muscles can pick a single berry or
knock a foe to the ground.
Long Nose 2006 Dry White
This wine is for sunny afternoons and light al fresco meals. Fruity and well balanced,
this is a tropical fruit cocktail with a long finish. Great with white meat, seafood or
solo.
SHORT TAIL:-

Visitors to South Africa are forever awed by the sheer size of this great pachyderm.
It’s diminutive tail, however is simply there as a lead for the elephant calf – and of
course a swatter for the flies.
Short Tail 2007 Rosé
The colour of an African sunset, this rosé is packed with fruit with a medium body but
long finish. A true summer drink and fine companion to light meat dishes, even
pastas or on the patio.
BIG EARS:-

Always a favourite South African attraction, the African elephant has the biggest
ears of any animal, scaring off adversaries and keeping its huge body cool in the ever
hot African sun.
Big Ears 2006 Dry Red
Laced with layers of fruit, this wine is sunshine in a glass. Medium body style with
soft tannins it is best drunk young. Ideal with light meats, patés and cheese.

Een absolute fantastische wijn. Heerlijk lang in afdronk, rachtige neus. En dan voor die prijs! Echt goed.
